  • Patient books appointments online via doctor's website
            This mode allows a patient to see free blocks on doctors website and accordingly books the appointment.  The patient gets a confirmation of the appointment on email and SMS.  For future dated appointment, patient also gets email and SMS reminder on that day. In case of any reschedule the patient is notified of the change via email or sms.

  • Booking of appointments internally
            In this mode a patient calls the hospital or clinic to take appointment. The clinic's staff then checks availability and books the appointment using LiveHospital Appointment Manager.

  • Patient calls up an IVR phone number
The IVR system informs of the earliest available time for booking. If the patient wants, he can just book this slot by pressing a key. Otherwise, the system prompts the user to enter his preferred date, time etc and then books the nearest available time slot. The IVR prompts are designed to make the patient book in least number of key presses. The patient gets a confirmation of his appointment on email and SMS.
